Journal 2
Stepbrother is one of the greatest comedy movies ever made. Will Ferrell and John C. Riley go together like peanut butter and jelly. The movie is hilarious, it keeps you laughing all the way though till the end. It is easily one of the most qouted movies I can think of. Both these actors star in another movie together Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. This was the first movie these two did together and it was a hit. I think that they should definatley make a Stepbrothers 2.

Response to Maraniss Essay
What Maraniss is saying is that
while winning might be important; it’s not the only thing in football. He makes
a couple good points to back this up. He brings up Packers legendary coach
Vince Lombardi, who didn’t believe that winning was the only thing. While
Maraniss didn’t agree with the Monday night football call, like probably
everyone else with a working set of eyes, he knows that nothing can be done to
change that. He basically called out Seattle’s head coach Pete Carroll and
quarterback Russell Wilson to come out and say that what happened in that Monday
night game was a joke and that instead of taking a win that they didn’t earn,
they should at least be honest with everyone and with themselves that they shouldn’t
have won that game.
I
agree with Maraniss one hundred percent. I watched the Monday night game and
how bad the refs were not just at the end of the game but throughout the game
as a whole. The replacement refs were terrible for the three weeks before this
game, so for Rodger Goodell to let this happen is a disgrace to what the NFL
stands for. As for Carroll and Wilson, I think they both knew that it was a
terrible call but didn’t want to admit it because they got too caught up in the
game and just wanted to win. I think that they should come forward and admit
that it was a bad call and that they really shouldn’t have one the game that’s what
good sportsmanship is all about.

Believing Game B
I believe that marijuana should be
illegal in the United States. Marijuana is a mind altering drug that is bad for
you and can cause problems in your personal and work life. It is also a gateway
drug to stronger and harder drugs that can ruin your life.
Believing Game A
I believe that marijuana should be
legal in the United States. There are no medical disadvantages of using
marijuana. It helps people deal with sicknesses like cancer by relieving there
pain. Also, if marijuana was legal it could be the number one source for income
in the United States, by making over a million dollars a year.
